Scott's 2nd Solo Album

Hello Everyone:

I am so glad to have found this forum. Just want to shout out a big "hey" to all you other Scott Stapp fans. Scott, I love you brother... it has been awesome to see you back. You're sounding great and the sneak preview of the new solo album just blew me away.

Great, great stuff... can't wait for the release. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another Creed album maybe around the second half of this year? I hope to get the privilege of seeing you live someday.

Anyway God bless you and your family, all the guys from Creed, and a big high-five for all of the other members of the site here... I'm so glad to be here.

This has been the longest and most grueling wait for an album ever. I think about it all the time and wake up each morning hoping that maybe today we will receive the surprise. We need your music Scottie. We love you so much; you're such an awesome human being, father and husband. I am sooooo proud of the man that you are turning out to be. Please know that you have countless fans like me who will always stand by you and cheer you on. The love we have for you will consume the haters, and - in the end - I know that God will glorify Himself through your life, your music and your testimony. I pray to The Lord Most High that one day He may grant me the awesome privilege of meeting you dear brother. I am an only child; my other two brothers are dead. Creed through you Scottie, Mark, Flip, Brian and Erock are my brothers. I love you all and am overjoyed with pride because of the remarkable family men that you have become. I ask The Lord to send legions of angels with the swords of fire draw to protect each and every one of you from the north, south, east and west. And may God's hedge o love and protection be upon your children and wives always. Thank you for existing guys. Thank you for al lof the faith, beauty and hope that you bring to us through your music. Perhaps one day soon I will get a chance to see you guys play live... I never loser hope! ::-)

Still there are people who don't want it His way
He was nailed,mocked,beat and spit upon
Just so we could be forgiven for our sin
So how could you not want to follow Him?

Follow Him and Repent of your sin
Let go of your worries and turn it over to Him

Sometimes we go through things that we don't understand. We
just have to trust God and not question Him but let Him do what
He wants to do through us because His plan is the best.

Does anyone have any update on Scott? How is he doing health-wise? I'm keeping him in my prayers fo' sho'! Any news on the album? Miss you Scottie... can't wait to hear your new material brother. :-)

Bruised for our iniquities
He was torn from the gut
Conquered death,hell and the grave
So if we Repent heaven won't be shut!

We all need to humble ourselves so the Lord can change us!
We see so many who are caught up in sin because they are still
on the throne and haven't let Christ be Lord! The music industry
is a great example! We see so many of these artists talk about or
thank God then sing about sexual immorality and alcohol. Why?
It's because preachers are afraid to preach tough becasue they
want praise from man more instead of praise from God. Preaching
agaisnt sin is Biblical not judgmental and we all need to remember
that! What's happening today is we have a ton of false conversions
becasue of faulty preaching so when a real preacher starts to try
to preach against sin people think they are being judged when all
that transpired was a Biblical sermon preached in Truth! It happened
when Jesus started to get tough because He knew their hearts and
they were only following for the miracles and benefits. As soon as He
started to talk about sin and get tough many fell away and stopped to
follow Christ because they were following for the wrong reasons and
as soon as they weren't getting what they wanted they went off and away
because they had better things to do? Better things then hangin with the
Savior? It boggles my mind but we see it today with all the rampid sin and
people who don't read the Word or want to know Christ! They all just want
to be blessed or say/do whatever then still go to heaven. Not gonna happen!

Look at these churches today that are only about self and rock concerts or
finding a good spouse,drinking coffee,fun,pizza parties and blessings.
It's sad how so many people think talking about sin is judging when all
you're trying to do is lead people out of the bondage their in. Lot's wife
was the same way and looked back. It was the same with the Israelites
when they started to follow Moses. The question is are you still trying to
hold on to your sin and look back?

We all need to Repent and turn from our sin especially that secret sin that
people think God will just look over.Wrong! We have to confess all our sin
then forsake it and agree that it's wrong then turn from it! Singing a couple
of songs won't save you! Only Repenting and putting your faith in the Blood
of Jesus Christ that was shed of the Cross will save you!
