The Grammy-winning act's debut album, "My Own Prison," surfaced 15 years ago and has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide.

In a March interview with CBSNews.com, frontman Scott Stapp acknowledged that the group has already penned five songs for a Creed album, which he hopes will surface by year's end.

The singer is also preparing for the October release of his memoir, which will touch on his childhood, the band's formation, as well as how personal attacks from haters have affected him "mentally, emotionally, spiritually and as a professional in the business -- and why it took so long for Creed to come back."
